Collab
I'm finishing up a little collaboration project with my friends at Zuriick in Salt Lake. Super slim card cases that are designed to hold just the minimum: ID, credit card and a folded bill or two. They take quite a bit of time to build, but the result is a sleek, heavy-duty leather case that will last.

Short Run
I just finished up a small batch of wallets and card cases. Without any templates to go off of, I've been experimenting with different shapes, styles and stitch patterns.

Wallet
It's been quite some time since I last posted. Graduate school, a summer internship in Africa and hours out on the bike... Anyway, here is the latest project: a custom wallet made from natural, vegetable-tanned leather. It's sort of a prototype, but so far it seems to work for me. Minimal card slots means fewer cards. The copper chain was made by my friend Zachary Hixson.

Dexter
Escaped Eugene for the better part of the day. The sun was threatening to show itself, which was reason enough to get out. Dexter Reservoir and the Lowell covered bridge. Lots of covered bridges up here.

Block Prints
Just finished up printing a batch of block print cd jackets. It was super tedious, but I think they turned out pretty good. It feels nice getting back into some handmade printing.

Sun
The sun appeared several times in the last few weeks as I traveled around Portland and Eugene. Feels like a luxury

Elko
I spent a night in my car in Elko and wrote about the adventure for a story. My professor just completed a book about the signs in Nevada, called Neon Nevada, and gave me this bitchin' postcard. He snapped the photo in 1979 on one of his many journeys across the state.
